Cheese Ball (Mom)

24 ounces Cream Cheese ½ cup worchester sauce 1 ½ tablespoons dried chopped onions or 1 tablespoon garlic (need to be smashed) 10 oz dried beef or 5 oz beef and 5 oz pepperoni 1 teaspoon Mrs. Dash   Mix. Make into balls and roll in pecans. 

Chip Dip (Mom)

2 pounds ground beef 2 boxes chilis, diced and peeled 1 can cream of mushroom 1 can cream of chicken 1 box tomato sauce like Mom uses (i dunno, that''s what she said) 1 mini cube Knorr Chipotle Seasoning 1 mini cube Knorr Citatro Seasoning 2 cubes Knorr Caldo de Tomate 2 boxes of milk (I think she means cans of milk like the cream of mushroom size) 24 slices of cheese salt and pepper ½ teaspoon chili powder (Mom says maybe a whole teaspoon) That's it. No, its not it. Wait. Brown the meat. Add the other ingredients. Boil it till it looks good in is mixed up. That's it.

Peanut Butter Fudge (Mom)

1 can frosting 1 jar peanut butter Mix a one-to-one ratio of frosting and peanut butter. Microwave for 45 seconds, stir and 30 seconds again, stir again. Chill for 45 minutes.

Fudge (Mom)

450 grams Chocolate Chips (600 grams if White Chocolate) 1 can sweetened condensed milk (or heavy cream for less sweet taste) Melt chocolate in microwave 45 seconds, stir and 30 seconds. Add sweetened condensed milk. Mix and chill for 45 minutes.

Great Green Beans (Mom)

1 can green beans 6 slices of cheese ⅓ cup milk ½ teaspoon of salt ¼ teaspoon of pepper Bring to boil. This will probably require water. Once boiled, drain the water. Then add ⅓ cup milk. Put on stove until boiling again. Add six slices of cheese. DO NOT STIR YET!!!!!!! Remove from heat and cover for 5 minutes or so. Then stir that cheese in.

Chicken Strips (Mom)

some chicken depends on how hungry you are 2 cups buttermilk or more or less, Mom is not sure 2 cups flour 1 teaspoon of Mrs Dash (its a seasoning apparently) ½ teaspoon paprika 1 teaspoon salt ½ teaspoon pepper ¼ teaspoon garlic salt, probably Thaw chicken and baptize in buttermilk. Let them sit as long as you have time up to 24 hours, the longer the better. Mix all dry ingredients together and tip the buttermilk chicken into concoction. Rebaptize in buttermilk and re-dunk in concoction. Fry in hot oil.

Rice Balls (Mom)

2 pounds ground beef 1 cup rice 1 onion 1 egg ½ cup cracker crumbs salt and pepper to taste Mix all ingredients. Make into tiny balls. Fry or bake. To fry, just fry them. To bake, Mom says the oven needs to be high or highish, see Dad for how to get an oven high. Mom now says 400 degrees.  Sauce 1 can tomato sauce  1 mini-cube Knorr Chipotle Seasoning 1 mini-cube Knorr Cilantro Seasoning 2 cubes Knorr Caldo de Tomate as much water as tomato sauce Mix this up and boil it. 

The Sacred Waffles and Sauce (Mom)

The Sacred Waffles 2 ½ cup flour ⅓ cup butter 2 cups milk 1 rounded tablespoon sugar 4 teaspoons of baking powder ½ teaspoon of salt 2 eggs (Dad says add 'Colorado Powder') lol Mix this up and put it in the waffle maker. Its not hard. The Sacred Sauce 3 cups milk 1 cup sugar ½ cup uncooked dough Whisk. Boil until bubbly as Becca on champagne.

Earthquake Cake (Mom)

1 box brown cake mix 1 cup coconut noodles 8 ounces cream cheese 1 stick butter (half cup) half cup powdered sugar Mix cake mix as directed on box. In separate container mix powdered sugar, butter and cream cheese. Sprinkle coconut noodles on the bottom of 8x11 pan. Pour cake mix over noodles. Drizzle cream cheese mixture on top. Bake until its delicious.  

Sugar Cookie Frosting (Mom)

8 ounces cream cheese 1 stick of butter (half cup) 1 teaspoon vanilla 2 pounds of powdered sugar 1 to 2 teaspoons of half and half as needed Mix ingredients.

Sugar Cookies (Mom)

2 sticks butter 1 ½ cups powdered sugar 1 egg 1 teaspoon vanilla 2 ½ cup flour 1 teaspoon baking soda 1 teaspoon cream of tartar ¼ teaspoon salt Cream butter, powered sugar, egg and vanilla. Add flour baking soda, area of tartar and salt. Mix well; would out on floured board. Cut into shapes. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes at 375. Frost Frosting 8 ounce cream cheese 1 stick of butter (half cup) 1 teaspoon vanilla 2 pounds of powdered sugar 1 to 2 teaspoons of half and half as needed Mix ingredients.

Oatmeal Bread (Mom)

1 ¾ cup boiling water 1 cup quick oats 2 tablespoons margarine 1 tablespoon dry yeast ¼ cup warm water ½ cup dark corn syrup or honey 5 to 6 cups of flour 2 teaspoons salt Pour boiling water over oats and margarine in a large bowl. Stir until margarine is melted. Cool about 10  minutes, stirring occasionally. Sprinkle yeast, honey, and salt into oat mixture. Stir in enough flour to form a stiff dough. Turn dough out not lightly floured cloth or board; knead until smooth and elastic. Place in greased bowl, turn over to grease top. Cover and let rise until double in bulk, about 1 hour.  Shape into smooth oval. Place loaves in 2 greased loaf pans. Cover and let rise until double, about 1 hour.  bake at 350 for 50 minutes or until loaves sound hollow when tapped. Turn out; cool on wire racks. Makes two loaves.

Italian Spaghetti (Mom)

3 tablespoons butter 3 tablespoons olive oil 2 pounds ground beef ½ pound Premium bacon, cut into ½ inch pieces 2 cans ripe tomatoes 2 cans tomato paste 1 ½ onions, chopped 1 ¾ head garlic, chopped ½ bunch parsley 3tablespoons dried 2 teaspoons sugar 1 ½ teaspoons salt ½ teaspoon pepper 2 very small red hot peppers Cook onions and garlic in olive oil and butter. Add other ingredients and cook 5 to 6 hours, stirring occasionally. Serve over spaghetti, cooked according to the package.

Buttersauce (Mom)

1 cup white sugar 1 rounded tablespoon flour 1 stick of butter (half cup) half cup of cream 1 teaspoon vanilla a dash of salt Mix sugar and flour. Then add wet ingredients. Whisk and boil for 1 to 2 minutes.

Chocolate Chip Cookies (Peter)

Ingredients Refrigerated 1 Egg, large 1/2 cup Butter, unsalted Baking & Spices 1 1/2 cups All-purpose flour 1 tsp Baking soda 1/2 cup Brown sugar, firmly packed light 2 1/4 cups Chocolate chips, semisweet 6 tbsp Granulated sugar 1/2 tsp Salt 1 tsp Vanilla extract Preheat the oven to 350°F and line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper or spray with non-stick spray.. In a medium bowl, sift the flour, baking soda and salt together. In another large bowl, using an electric mixer at medium speed, beat together the butter, and sugars about 2 minutes and is smooth. Add the egg and vanilla and mix on low speed until mixed in. Gradually add the flour mixture and mix in until just incorporated. Do not keep mixing - do not overmix. Blueberry Muffins (Mom)

Blueberry Muffins 5 cups flour 2 cups sugar 2 Tablespoons baking powder 2 teaspoons salt 4 eggs 1/2 cup oil 1 stick (1/2 cup) butter, melted 1-1/2 cups milk 2 teaspoons vanilla 12 – 16 ounces frozen blueberries - Do not thaw blueberries (recipe says you can use 1 pint fresh berries but I've never tried fresh) Coarse sugar crystals (can purchase at Russ' deli) Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Place jumbo muffin papers into 12 jumbo muffin tins.  Combine flour, sugar, baking powder and salt in a large bowl- stir well.  Melt butter in a microwave safe bowl -- then add oil, vanilla, milk and eggs.  Beat well.  Pour milk mixture into flour mixture and gently hand mix just until most all the liquid is absorbed. Fold in frozen blueberries.  Batter will be thick.  Divide batter among prepared muffin cups.  The cups will be almost full.
